Description:

Sampson was stopped by JC Penny’s Loss Prevention after she was seen concealing numerous items of clothing in her purse. She exited the store without paying for the items. Sampson was taken into custody for retail theft and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date.

It was determined the accused had a criminally suspended driver's license. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to Castleton where he was later released on a citation to appear at Rutland Superior Court-Criminal Division on 8/8/2011.

Description:

On 5/14/11 at 0007 hours the accused was stopped for weaving on VT RT 3 in Proctor, VT. Roadside investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol. He was screened for impairment and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license (from a previous DUI).

He was transported to the RCSD and processed for DUI/DLS and released on a citation to appear at Rutland Superior Court -Criminal Division on 5/23/11 at 0830 hours.

Description: On 5/10/11 at 2051 hours RCSD was monitoring traffic on RT 103 in Shrewsbury by Lincoln Hill road. A vehicle was noticed traveling southbound at a very high rate of speed. RADAR confirmed that the speed was 101 MPH. This section of RT 103 is posted at 50 MPH. The operator, Tyler Davis, was arrested for Excessive Speed and processed at the Rutland County Sheriff's Office. Davis was released on a citation.

Description:

On 5/4/11 at approximately 2200 hours the accused was driving a Dodge Caravan on West Street and Merchant's Row in Rutland City. A routine department of motor vehicles records check revealed the registered owner of the vehicle was suspended. Contact was made with the vehicle's operator in front of Price Chopper. The operator was identified as Cassandra M. Keyes. Keyes was found to have a criminally suspended driver's license. Keyes was taken into custody and transported to the RCSD for post-arrest processing. She was later released on a citation to appear at Rutland Superior Court - Criminal Division to answer to the charge of DLS-C.
