Incident: Theft of SCUBA Diving Equipment

Location: Marble Street (Quarries) West Rutland

Description:

On 6/15/11 at 1400 hours the RCSD began investigating the theft of approximately $4000 worth of SCUBA equipment. The theft victim had been in the process of diving in the marble quarry and was taking a lunch break between dives when he left his SCUBA equipment near the water. When he returned from his vehicle, he found the equipment was missing.

An older model white pickup truck, possibly with a ladder rack, was seen in the area with two middle-aged white males.
